Access Unlimited Lift’s commitment to continual product improvement has led to the development of an all new UnderHook for the SpeedyBar interface. The SpeedyBar attaches to the vehicles door hinges and is what supports the ParraLift electric lifter.
As the name suggests, the UnderHook, hooks under the top door hinge rather than over it as with the current configuration.
The UnderHook will be made available as an option for those vehicles where there is limited space for the standard OverHook to fit between the door hinge and the door skin.
There are three main components to the UnderHook: the Hook, the Hook Mount and the Spring Loaded Locking Mechanism. The Hook Mount has adjustable slot holes so it can be properly adjusted to fit to the vehicle.
When the Spring Loaded Lock is released the UnderHook drops out of the way so that is can be easily fitted and removed. For more details on how it works watch this video Link.
The SpeedyBar comes standard with the OverHook and is the preferred mounting method. However, for reasons mentioned, the UnderHook can be ordered in addition to the OverHook or as an in lieu option.
The cost difference is $240.00 as an in lieu option or can be purchased for $360.00.
